As in any creative process, the first thing was to know the needs, objectives to be fulfilled, preliminary ideas… A tailor made communicative suit takes many details, and we are expert tailors. IPG Mediabrands made the order and through our collaboration agreement we started to take charge over the media campaign of the airline Skytraxen considers the best in Europe.
Today is a month of the inaugural flight of Turkish Airlines to Havana. EBM Marketing Solutions works hard with a few weeks in advance to include, in the media available in Cuban context, the airline’s message: “Hello Habana … nice to meet you”.
Despite to what some may think, there are advertisement spaces in different media in Cuba. They have different scopes and public and can be used to publicize a brand, service or product. We were evaluating which were the most favorable to communicate in the Cuban market and to enter for the first time in the Island.
The inclusion of all languages: print, digital, radio, television and a discursive coherence are some of the visible results of the first media campaign made in Cuba for a foreign company. For more than four weeks a dozen programs have passed that welcome message in Radio Taíno, “The FM of Cuba”. At José Martí International Airport in Havana and Juan Gualberto Gómez Airport in Varadero, the TV screens show constantly an spot that includes the good flight wishes and the airline’s invitation to “extend the world”, the essence of its slogan. Meanwhile, print and digital media also show the presence of Turkish Airlines on the island.
Our 12 years of experience in Cuba allowed us once again to add value to the campaign and to make the airline achieving the expected objectives. It was also very positive that we were asked to conduct the call for the press conference.
That was a special bridge, and we crossed it perfectly at Melia Cohiba Hotel were Turkish Airlines executives engaged dozens of journalists in an smooth dialog. This very dialog was instantly reflected by the press.
